Professor Michael Findlater is a co-PI on two new multi-institutional center awards.
The first is a $3.5M award from the University of California Lab Fees Program that will fund a multi-UC effort in concert with national labs aimed at capture and conversion of the greenhouse gas, carbon dioxide.
The second award is a highly prestigious Energy Frontier Research Center (EFRC) supported by the Department of Energy.
Both awards will advance the direct conversion of a potent greenhouse gas into valuable fuels and commodity chemicals.
