Pedro Valencia Landa, a graduating senior with a major in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.Currently part of the Kim lab and the SIELO lab at the University of California Merced and advancing his career into a PhD program in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at UC Santa Cruz. In the past, he has served the UC Merced community as a resident assistant, a peer review board member, and an office assistant. His ultimate goal is to be able to give back to the underrepresented community by helping the next generation of researchers and doctors accomplish their dreams while bridging the ethnicity gaps currently present in medical fields and higher education.
