• Search Committee updates the status of all candidates in the: “Serious Consideration” or “Recommend for Interview” categories [A6]
• Search Committee assigns disposition reasons to all qualified and unqualified candidates [A7 & A8]
• Search Committee prepares a short memo [A9] including the summary of strengths and weaknesses in the areas of research, diversity, equity and inclusion, and teaching for each candidate in the “Serious Consideration” and “Recommend for Interview” categories. The memo should also recommend three candidates for interview and up to four ranked alternates to the Dean.
• The Personnel Director will pull a shortlist report from AP Recruit identifying the demographic data of the shortlist that will be sent to both the FEAs and Dean along with the Search Committee’s memo for review/approvals.
• The Dean will seek feedback from the Faculty Equity Advisor (and Department Chair when necessary) prior to approving the list. Under normal circumstances, the list will be approved within three business days. An approval memo from the Dean will be emailed to the Search Chair.
