Staff Performance Management

Performance management is a continuous process that provides expectations, feedback, and recognition for improvements and contributions. The performance management process involves the supervisor and employee in promoting performance assessment, motiving employees to perform at their best, and should be done in a fair and transparent manner. 

UC Merced utlizies an online system to manage the performance management process called Saba. The Saba system should be utilized for those employees that are classified with staff payroll titles (e.g. Lab Assistant, Scientific Research Associate, etc).
