• The Department Chair confirms space assignment and discusses candidate’s needs with Assistant Dean/Dean.
• Department Chair consults with Dean about start-up resources prior to negotiating with the candidate.
• Department Chair consults with Dean to confirm negotiation is complete.
• When the negotiation is complete, the Department Chair is responsible for submitting the final start-up budget estimator [A14] to the Assistant Dean who will then coordinate with the Personnel Director in order to draft the offer letter for Dean’s review.
• Dean reviews the draft offer letter and informs Personnel Director when the final offer is ready to be sent to the candidate.
• Upon receipt of a signed offer letter, the search moves to the closing phase
